Pilates is one of the safest and most effective forms of exercise for pregnany women.

With an increased curve in the lower back, additional pressure on the spine and separation of the abdominal muscles, many women develop backache and poor posture.

Ante natal and post natal Pilates focuses on exercises and stretches to strengthen the core, stabilise the pelvis, improve posture, deep breathing and relaxation.

At Gorey Pilates Studio we offer a Chartered Physiotherapist led, 7 week term of ante-natal and post natal pilates. Our small class size, with a maximum of 8 participants, allows your therapist to ensure you are carrying out the exercises effectively and also allows for exercises to be adapted as your body changes.
